Married to Jo (a lay minister in the Church of England). One ace son, Joshua, aged 8 (surpasses me on the piano, and gaining fast at tennis…which is worrying !).

I am passionate about music, with a CD collection threatening to take over our lounge, love trashy sci-fi films, and read far too many comics for someone fast approaching 40 (although I would argue they are a higher art form than most people would credit). Check out some recommendations.

For some arcane reason lost in the mists of time, I support Leeds Utd (I've never lived further north than Coventry). I'm only just coming to terms with life in the 1st Division (or The Championship, as I believe it is has been rather desperately renamed), and the fact that I now struggle to name more than half the squad.

Other stuff ? I enjoy cycling and walking (but hate camping). I like gardening. But not DIY. I would like to learn to rock climb properly. I'm fascinated with British history (the older the better) and folklore. And for some strange reason, have always quite fancied living in Glastonbury.
